“When your focus is upon me, all the cares of your world find their place behind me. You can rest and find peace in my presence because I hold you in the palm of my hand. Trust enables you to embrace dependency upon me. It frees you to experience the gift of my abundance when all is not quite as you’d like it to be.
I encourage you to let go of everything that is unimportant, those things that would hinder you from the freedom I’ve provided for you to live in. Allowing your humanity, (emotional reactions of irritation, frustration, anger, humiliation, rejection, pride) to get in the way, makes it difficult to live above your circumstances. Conversely, going against the grain of your humanity frees my Spirit to work in you to accomplish the greater purposes I have for you in those times.
Acknowledging me, in faithful obedience, will help you steer clear of little things the enemy uses to trip you up. Letting go of unimportant things enables you to see the good I desire to reveal in every situation. My way is always better, although in some instances, it may not be easier because it may be contrary to your feelings, and fleshly responses.
My Spirit searches your heart and examines your intentions. When your heart desires to do my will, my Spirit is released to provide the needs of the moment and you will receive the grace you need.
It is a difficult thing to teach yourself to respond to me first, rather than to your flesh. However, this is a goal I desire for all my children to obtain. It is the best way for you to live.
I desire that you be blessed beyond your flesh. This requires sensitivity to my Spirit, moment by moment, and day by day. Keep your focus upon me, and you will find me where you are. Abide in the blessing of my love for you are precious to me.”
Job 22:21 – “Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you.” (NIV)
Philippians 3: 12-14 – “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and Sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (NIV)
Perfect timing….again!
