a Whisper…silence

“Sometimes in the stillness of the morning it is good to just be quiet.  In quietness and trust is your strength.  I am in the wind. I am in the air you breathe. I am all around you. It is your choice to breathe me into your life, your actions, and decisions, but it all starts with an awareness of my presence in the silence around you.

Soak in the silence; bask in the glow of my presence; feel the light of my love as it pours over you. Receive my Spirit, abide in me, and know my great peace today.  I love you my child.”

Isaiah 30:15 “This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength…”

I am a devoted follower of Christ who believes that when we have ears to hear, God will speak to us. He not only uses His word through the Bible, but he uses the Holy Spirit to communicate with us in many different ways, but mostly in the ways He knows each individual heart will hear Him. This blog is simply about sharing the whispers that the Lord has spoken to my heart during quiet times with Him. I give Him all the credit for the words shared on this site. If there is any encouragement for you, as there has been for me, the blessing is from Him. I pray that all who find this blog will hear his voice in these Whispers.

  1. Wonderful words to remind us of God’s peace. Just read this in my devotional & wanted to share: May the sunlight of God’s face shine upon you today! 😇
