“Perspective is what is needed when you struggle in relationships that are important to you. I am the one who can help you with that.
Your perspective is skewed because you don’t always know what the other person’s thoughts or struggles may be. You tend to assume much and many of your assumptions are wrong because they are based upon feelings rather than facts.
When your feelings get hurt by others, you often jump quickly to the wrong assumptions and this is what skews your perspective. You see through a dark glass and that is not enough to be truly discerning. Instead of jumping to conclusions of your own making, make the effort to bring your thoughts to me and ask me to help you to have discerning eyes. Ask me to provide you wisdom so that you will see more clearly. You may not be completely off the mark, but I am the only one who knows for sure.
You would be wise to trust in me and to allow me to work in your heart; and to speak to you about these things before you go off and create a situation that does not exist. Haste can be a waste of time and effort. It can also be a setback to hinder the answers to your prayers.
Come to me, come to this safe place where we meet in prayer and in my Word. I will speak to your heart and show you the way to go and how to gain the right perspective in your relationships.”
