“My peace passes all understanding and it is yours today. All you must do is choose to receive it. There are many stirrings in your heart, but I lead you in the path of peace. If you feel anxious, you are going the wrong way. However, as you experience my peace, the way becomes clear.
Sometimes you confuse your wants and needs with my desires for you. I desire that you seek me first; that you share these things with me and allow me to guide you in the process of obtaining them. Since fear is the opposite of peace, don’t allow yourself to fear that you may not receive what you want. I am your provider and all your needs will be met in me.
Peace is disrupted when your focus is on the wrong things. In these times it is good to pray and to give them to me. Seek me and I promise you will always find me, however, it may not be within your time frame. Remember, I know what you need, exactly when you need it, and I also know when you are ready to receive. Trust in me to provide for you and my peace will carry you. You will not be disappointed.”
- “The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.” Romans 8:6
- “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
- “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15
This is such a true and timely reminder! One of my most memorized verses is Matt. 6:33 and your words brought it to mind this morning. I need all of them. Peace, not fear.

I needed them too! With all that is going on in our country today, it is easy for me to focus on the frustration of it all instead of allowing the peace of God to carry me through, knowing that it is all in His hands anyway.
