“I am the strength of your heart. I am the root of your salvation and the nourishment of your soul.
My heart rejoices when you come to me with an attitude of praise and thankfulness. Your life may not be all that you’d like it to be, yet you choose to abide and trust in me. Your trust enables my Spirit to continue to move and work in your life.
As you set apart time to focus on me, time to be in my presence, to wait upon and to hear from me, I will be faithful to speak to you. When you are secure in my love, you are open and able to hear what I want to say to you. Your open-heart paves the way for our personal relationship to grow.
It is my desire that you open your heart to me and allow me to be personal to you. When you grasp the concept of me as your Father, that I love you like no other, and that nothing you can do will ever separate me from you, you are able to see me as personal, the one who tenderly loves you, the one who always accepts you, the only one who will never disappoint you.
Sometimes you believe that you are not worthy of this kind of love. This thought comes from the enemy of your soul. My son, Jesus, gave his life for you, and that makes you worthy. You must not believe the lies of your enemy! When you receive my truth, it changes you. Old thoughts and ideas become the past, and my truth becomes your present. It is a gift that I give you freely. It is a gift that I long for you to accept.
Your earthly father is (was) an imperfect person because he is (was) human. His love for you is (was) flawed by his humanity, and he is (was) incapable of loving you with perfect love. That said, I am Perfect and that is how I love you. As my child you are clothed in a robe of righteousness. I can meet all your needs and satisfy the deepest longings of your soul. No human could ever accomplish this. Yet, I call out to you, wanting to be your Father, desiring to be the one you trust above all. I long for you to see this truth; to receive and understand my great love for you as your Father.”
