a Whisper…seeing

“I reveal myself to you in so many ways and sometimes you choose to see me, other times you don’t. My beauty is all around you, but you must choose to see with the eyes of your spirit, of my Spirit in you.

I give you times of rest, but you must recognize and choose to receive them. This means that you lay your cares and your burdens down, you give them to me, you let them go. When you have surrendered them, I am free to move and work in your life and show you my blessing.  Then you can experience my joy and my peace, and you will not fail to see the beauty in my creation wherever you are or wherever you go.”

  • “Your eyes will see the king in all his splendor, and you will see a land that stretches into the distance.” Isaiah 33:17
  • “The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly.” Psalms 146:8
  • Jesus said, “But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.” Matthew 13: 16

Author: Nancy Nelson Larson - Whispers from God Blog

I am a devoted follower of Christ who believes that when we have ears to hear, God will speak to us. He not only uses His word through the Bible, but he uses the Holy Spirit to communicate with us in many different ways, but mostly in the ways He knows each individual heart will hear Him. This blog is simply about sharing the whispers that the Lord has spoken to my heart during quiet times with Him. I give Him all the credit for the words shared on this site. If there is any encouragement for you, as there has been for me, the blessing is from Him. I pray that all who find this blog will hear his voice in these Whispers.
