a Whisper…everlasting love

NLPic1

“I rejoice over you this morning. You are my child and I love you with an everlasting love. My heart is glad as I look into your heart and see your willingness to trust me. The way of trust will always lead you along the blessed path.

Walk in confidence because I am your God and Father. I make a way when sometimes it seems there is none. I will always make a way for you. Abide in me, take time to bask in my presence and rest in the truth of your Savior – of His salvation and deliverance.

You are blessed, dear one, and I am with you today, tomorrow and always.”

  • The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17
  • The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. Jeremiah 31:3
  • But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children– Psalms 103:17
  • Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you. Psalms 84:12
  • The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. Isaiah 32:17
  • The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

a Whisper…I AM in control

eric-muhr-ILbw5PUD8Is-unsplash

I AM in control. I know exactly what is happening in the world. I want the world to see me, to see that there is hope for all who choose to believe and trust me. I am not oblivious to the pain and suffering many are experiencing. Though I am God who executes judgment, I am God who is compassionate and I give hope; hope that comes through faith.

Let what is happening today be a wake up call to all. This world is not within your control. The universe is in my hands. There are greater reasons for that which I allow than what your eyes are able to see, so that is why I ask you to trust me. Without me, there would be only chaos and destruction. With me, there is a way out, there is a way through and I AM with all who choose to follow me.

My grace has not left this world. It is in the hearts of all who love me. It is in the prayers of my faithful ones. It is in the love and kindness you display to others in the face of adversity. I call you to stand in the faith you have received. I am the solid rock on whom you may depend. I’ve got this world, I’ve got all who belong to me and I’ve got you. I AM in control.

  • “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” John 8:58
  • Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. Isaiah 46:9
  • And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. Romans 13:11
  • By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Hebrews 11:3
  • He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalms 46:10
  • Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 1 Peter 5: 8, 9
  • The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalms 18:2
  •  …neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39
  • “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19
  • Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12

a Whisper…change in you

tyler-lastovich-iD9F5pzNwLk-unsplash

“Change is not alway easy. Yet, change will be a significant part of your life and you need to learn how to manage it. Unexpected change can be shocking and difficult to handle. How you choose to respond to change when it comes – however it comes, will determine how successfully you navigate it.

The sting of another person’s angry words or the powerful pain of rejection are things that generally lead to occurances of change. In these situations, it is human to think that it’s someone else who needs to change, not you. Though that may be partially true, I will always have something to teach you and you need to realize that when I go to work, I am going to work on you. The other person is mine to deal with, but you are responsible for you and I desire that you be willing accept the things that I want to change in you.

You can count on the fact that if you are in a struggle of any kind, I am looking to do a work of change in you. Transformation is my business. I sent my son into your world to change hearts and open minds to my forgiveness, love, and salvation. Transformation occurs as you give something up to gain something better. For those of you who have embraced my Son, as your Savior, you have the power within you, by the Holy Spirit, to change and become all you are meant to be.

Only when you recognize how much you need to change, will you have the desire to actually do something about it. Personal change requires the greatest amount of of your time and attention.  It requires humility, a willingness to let go of your pride and to look at yourself in an honest way. Though you may feel like it would be much easier to quit than to work through the process, remember that you have Christ in you, the Hope of Glory, and all things are possible with Him.

Utilize every resource you have been given. Use prayer and Scripture to guide you to wisdom and knowledge, and tap into the wisdom of those you trust. Discipline your thoughts and focus on all the benefits of the change you need to make. Exercise self control, so that you will be able to hear and follow through with the actions that lead to personal transformation. You don’t walk alone, even when it feels that way. We are with you, I your Father, Jesus your Savior, and the Holy Spirit, and We give you success when you don’t give up.

With determination to do the necessary work, you will not be defeated by the process of growth. Don’t give up on yourself, because I will not give up on you. You will be led to springs of renewal and waters of refreshment. You will grow in character and grace, and be led to greater understanding of the Love that has called you, and the incredible life I have for you on the other side of change.”

  • Daniel praised the God of heaven and said: “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and season; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. Daniel 2 20-22
  • The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7
  • When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Proverbs 11:2
  • And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18
  • For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 4: 7, 8
  • Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5: 3-5

a Whisper…step into joy

skyler-smith-yQgwTLuGVZQ-unsplash

“My joy is your strength. So, in moments of frustration, make the choice to step into joy.  Whatever is causing you frustration, is not worth allowing it to do so. You can control your reactions to recurring irritations by how you choose to respond to them.

Sitting in traffic, another drivers carelessness on the road, and foolish things that others say and do can be irritating to you. Rather than reacting in a way that is not good, (anger, name calling, hand gestures, etc.), seize the moment, take it captive. Don’t allow these things to overtake you and disrupt your peace of mind. Have the presence of mind to quickly step back from your emotions and regroup your thoughts.  Bless the person that cut you off, pray for the safety of those in the path of a speeding driver. Forgive the one whose careless words are offensive, and remember to be thankful for the blessings that I have provided. Counter cultural responses will help you to step into joy. You will be amazed at how quickly your attitude changes.”

  • Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2a
  • The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. Psalms 28:7
  • Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers…Psalms 1:1
  • Does he not see my ways and count my every step? Job 31:4
  • The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps. Proverbs 14:15
  • Blessed are those who act justly, who always do what is right. Psalms 106:3
  • And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17
  • Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15

a Whisper…trust in My faithfulness

abigail-keenan-hG4qBPj5BJg-unsplash

“My child, it is good to wait upon me. It is good to trust in My faithfulness. I am your Father and I deeply care for you.

I am never insensitive to the pain and suffering of my children, whether it is physical, mental, emotional, or all of these. I care about the things that concern you and I desire to help you as you go through them.

I want you to trust me. Trust is more than saying you do. Trust is a sincere belief that I will help you. It is shown by the way that you live your life and the things you say to others while you’re walking through something that requires you to trust me. It means that you draw close to me, that you seek me for comfort and strength, rather than trying to handle it all on your own.

By truly believing that I am for you and with you in all circumstances — through everything you’re facing, there is no reason to have doubt. Your needs will be met because I know what you need. I will extend my grace and provide the best solutions for your circumstances, even if they generate a different outcome than your expectation. Abide in me, be patient in the process and I will bless you through it. Trust in My faithfulness!

  • But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3
  • Cast all your anxiety on him (the Lord) because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
  • Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. Psalms 86:11
  • For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord. Psalms 117:2
  • Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalms 23:4
  • Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. Psalms 40:4
  • Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3: 5,6

a Whisper…I hold your life

ben-white-gEKMstKfZ6w-unsplash

“The journey of your life is filled with stops and starts.  The one consistent truth is that I hold your life and all of your ways in my hand. I want you to trust me so much that you are able to rest in me and in the truth of my Word all the time.

This life will be constantly challenging for you, but you don’t have to meet those challenges in your own strength. You must learn to rely upon me, to hope in me, and to know that nothing will happen to you apart from me. I am with you and I will make a way for you through whatever it is you happen to be facing.

Learning to live by my Spirit in you, not being controlled by your own flesh, is where your battle is fought daily. Your flesh does not have to get the better of you when I have provided you with resources to rule over it. You have my Spirit, you have my Righteousness, you have my Word and my Truth, and all the Faith you need to win these battles and to forge ahead. Your actions can be led by my Spirit when you choose to embrace the power that I have put within you.

I am the King of the Universe, of the heavens and of your earth. Think about what that means for you. You know me, you are part of my family and all my blessings fall upon my children. They fall upon you, so acknowledge me as the One True God and Father of all; and, believe in the power you have to enter into my victory over everything you face in life.

Your life is a journey with me to the next one, your circumstances are temporary. Your eternal crown is being held for you even as my hand holds you now. May my Word be proven true in your life and may my blessings be abundant upon you as you faithfully trust me.”

  • …You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you did not honor God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways. Daniel 5:23b
  • I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. “For he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end. He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.” Daniel 6: 26, 27
  • (Jesus said) The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you–they are full of the Spirit and life. John 6:63
  • Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6: 14-17
  • Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Galatians 5:25

a Whisper…where it is best

jason-polley-xgukIFVpvfA-unsplash

“You may plan your steps, but I will direct your path. Your will and desires push you toward that which you want for yourself, but my will always leads you where it is best. You may wrestle with obedience along the way because you don’t understand what lies ahead. You do not see with my eyes.

I call you to trust. I call you to be willing to follow me even when it may be on a path that you’re not sure about. My child, you must learn that my way is perfect and it will be the right way for you. You must have the faith to believe that my blessing will always follow your obedience as you choose to follow me.

The heart that trusts, even when it is hard, is the heart that I will bless abundantly. You do not have to be dismayed by what you don’t understand. All you need to do is have confidence that I am in control; and as long as you are with me, everything will be OK.

Stay connected to me through prayer and by being in my Word. Trust me to move in your life right where you are now. I am faithful and you will rejoice in the blessings to come.”

Father, please help me to acknowledge your power to move in my life as you lead me to where it is best. Help me to be more obsessed with your truth than mine. May your truth be my truth; and, may your will become that which I do, so that I may know your abundant blessing upon my life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

  • And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8

a Whisper…what is greater

james-mcgill-57897-unsplash

“Each day, you should prioritize some time to be present with me by reading my Word, through mediation, and in prayer. Lay aside the cares of life, the pull of technology, and any other thing that would draw you away from spending a few moments of quality time with me.

To receive what is greater, you must give up what is less. To know me you must meet with me so we can fellowship and commune together. To hear from me, read my Word and allow your spirit to absorb it as you quietly listen for my voice speaking to your heart.

You matter to me. I want to matter to you. Just as you are devoted to doing things that you love because they are fulfilling, so you should do with me.  If you are faithfully devoted to me, you will receive that which is greater.

I long to be your first priority. Come to me with a sincere heart and I will open the windows of heaven and pour down my blessings upon you in a myriad of wonderful ways.”

  • Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all  your mind and with all your strength. Mark 12:30
  • …for God is present in the company of the righteous. Psalms 14:5b
  • Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your God…1 Chronicles 22:19a
  • Come near to God and he will come near to you…James 4:8a

  • …let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:22
  • So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today–to love the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul–then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil. I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied. Deuteronomy 11:13-1

a Whisper…the leap of trust

kristopher-roller-rgrZVTjuuPw-unsplash

“Disappointment comes sometimes when things don’t go the way you want them to. It’s a part of life everyone deals with. But it’s not so much about the disappointments as it is about what you choose to do with them.

The first thing you can do is choose to rest in me and trust that I always have your back. I know what is best for you. Even when something doesn’t work out as you hoped, you may be assured that it is for the best. Trust paves the way to believe with confidence that I will allow the right things to happen in your life.

Faith is about trust and I want you to trust me in everything – both the big and small details of each day. I will continually bless your trust, even though you may not fully understand why things happen as they do. With me, there is always more to the story; a greater purpose and plan for your life. By choosing trust, you choose the way of peace. The blessing of peace is worth the decision to trust me. I promise you that.

Try not to allow your human nature to make you bitter in the process. Allow it to make you better, so you will grow even stronger as your faith deepens. I do not abandon or forsake my children and I will not do that to you.

Take the leap of trust. In doing so, the disappointments of your life will lead you to ultimate victories and greater discoveries than you can imagine. I am faithful and I will do it.”

  • I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalms 91:2
  • Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. Deuteronomy 7:9

a Whisper…prayer is ministry

ben-white-yy3GonY48N0-unsplash

“Prayer is the language you use to communicate with me. The heavenly host are angels who execute my will as they serve  in response to the prayers that you have raised. Prayer is ministry. It has immense unseen value in a moment, but carries with it eternal consequences for those you pray for. Because I care about what concerns you, I will act and move on your behalf and on behalf of those whose needs have touched your heart and moved you to pray.

Prayer will not necessarily provide instant gratification. I am not a a genie in a bottle and instant answers are not always what is needed for the prayers you pray. I see the end from the beginning and I know what is best for each individual heart. When answers are needed in a moment, I will provide them, when they are not, you must exercise faith and trust me. I am God, Creator of the universe, you are not. My ways are higher than yours and my plans are perfect and timely.

Prayer can change the hearts of men and it can change the world in which you live. It is an important part of ministry and you should not dismiss its power even when results are intangible. I will carefully respond to prayers that are birthed of genuine concern and need, prayers that are motivated by sincere and sensitive hearts.”

  • pray continually…1 Thessalonians 5:17
  • And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18
  • Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2
  • The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous. Proverbs 15:29
  • “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55: 8, 9
